On CNN’s “New Day” today, Anderson Cooper revealed the Top 10 CNN Heroes of 2016.
These include people who lead cancer patients on adventures, bring health care to rural Kenya and help women escape Nashville’s seedy underbelly. The causes they support vary as much as their backgrounds, but all 10 have dedicated their lives to changing the world.
Each will receive a $10,000 cash prize. One will be named CNN Hero of the Year and receive an additional $100,000 for his or her cause.
CNN Hero of the Year will be announced during the 10th annual CNN Heroes tribute show hosted live by Cooper and Kelly Ripa on December 11 at New York’s American Museum of Natural History.
Vote for CNN Hero of the Year via email, Facebook Messenger and Twitter.
