The Chicago Cubs are returning to the World Series for the first time in 71 years after defeating the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-0 Saturday in Game 6 of the National League Championship Series. It’s the first WS appearance for the Cubs since 1945.
The World Series opens Tuesday when the Cubs go on the road to face American League champions Cleveland Indians. The Indians haven’t won the Fall Classic since 1948.
