Nationwide, 54% of voters today said they approve of the job Obama is doing, but only about 4 in 10 said they would be excited about a Clinton or Trump presidency, according to preliminary exit polls.
Nearly 7 in 10 said they were dissatisfied or angry with the way the government was working.
