Breaking News

A sixth child has died from injuries sustained in Monday's school bus crash in Chattanooga, Tennessee, police have tweeted.

Driver Johnthony Walker was taking 37 students home from school when the bus swerved off the road, hit a mailbox, a utility pole and flipped on its side as it struck a tree. Police said Walker was driving "well above" the speed limit. Police on Wednesday said no traces of alcohol or drugs were found in his blood.

Eleven children remain hospitalized, some with severe head or spinal injuries.
