Yahoo! says it will cut 2,000 jobs in a restructuring effort.
"Today's actions are an important next step toward a bold, new Yahoo! -- smaller, nimbler, more profitable and better equipped to innovate," the company said in a statement.
News of the cuts comes as payroll processing firm ADP reports that private companies added 209,000 jobs in March, slightly fewer than in February.
