Man dies in police custody in Norfolk

NORFOLK A man died in police custody on Tuesday after he was pepper sprayed and restrained in a police car, the department said today. Police are investigating the death. The man's body was taken to the medical examiner's office. Police arrested the man after they were called at 5 p.m. to the 7800 block of Diven Arch for a report of a suspicious person, a department statement said.
