Breaking News

An airstrike that hit a hospital in northern Syria killed at least 27 people, including three children and three doctors, a rights group says.

Al Quds field hospital in a rebel-held neighborhood in Aleppo was hit by a missile from a fighter jet, witnesses said. It's unclear whom the fighter jet belonged to.

Other fatalities in Wednesday's attack included two hospital guards, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says.

Civilians standing at the hospital gate also died in the attack.
