There were no obvious signs of trauma, and no reason to believe Prince's death was suicide, Minnesota investigators say.
The news followed an autopsy on the music superstar conducted on Friday. Complete results from the autopsy could take days or weeks, the Midwest Medical Examiner's Office said.
Prince, whose full name was Prince Rogers Nelson, died Thursday at age 57. He was found unresponsive in an elevator at his studios in Chanhassen, Minnesota.
