Donald Trump will make his vice presidential announcement on Friday in New York, campaign chairman Paul Manafort told CNN on Wednesday.
The comment caps a day of melodrama as potential candidates vying for the spot hopped on planes and phones to perform frenzied, last-minute tryouts. But sources said Trump had yet to make a final decision.
