UPLAND - Kyle Morrison is anxiously waiting for the day when he can get back on his bicycle and ride around the neighborhood. The 11-year-old underwent a craniotomy in March to repair a torn artery in his brain that was sustained from falling off his bike outside his grandparents' house. |

Man faces child abuse charge

JACKSONVILLE - A Jacksonville man has been charged with inflicting a brain injury on a 4-month-old child. Leslie Crain Wearn, 40, of Caveness Drive, was charged Friday by the Jacksonville Police Department with intentional child abuse causing serious physical injury. |
